Feature Stone Walls

A feature wall in natural stone changes how a whole property feels. We build interior and exterior feature walls such as entry walls, fireplace surrounds, façades, courtyard walls, in full-depth stone, coursed and jointed to suit your architecture.

Retaining Walls

Stone retaining walls solve a structural problem beautifully. Every wall is founded, drained and, where height requires, engineered, then faced and coursed by hand so the finished structure looks like it grew out of the slope.

Dry Stacked Stone Walls

Dry stacking is the oldest form of the craft, built with a minimum of mortar, held by weight and friction. Done properly, a dry stacked wall drains freely, moves with the ground and lasts for centuries.

Mortared Stone Walls

Where a wall must be weather-tight, load-bearing or crisp-edged, we build in mortared stone, with joints raked, flushed or struck to suit the look you're after, and mortar coloured to sit quietly behind the stone rather than compete with it.
